Sunlight Therapy uses NLP as part of the process to be generally more positive about our lives and to achieve personal goals more quickly. For example, if you genuinely believe that you can achieve something, like losing weight – you will! It’s really as simple as that. NLP is a fascinating subject and using it can really create massive opportunities in life, love, work, play and business. The most successful people already use it – that’s why they’re so successful!
You’re probably aware that how we think about things effects how we feel about them. Successful business tycoons and sporting champions all subscribe to the mantra ‘positive mental attitude’. If we feel powerful – we become more powerful, if we feel successful – we become more successful. Most of us use it all the time when we’re speaking with children: you’ve done so well, you’re so clever, I’m so proud of you, I love you so much!
However, if we’re feeling neglected, unloved, beaten, unsuccessful, unattractive… guess what – we feel less attractive! Being attractive actually has very little to do with conventional physical beauty. Being confident is the most attractive, sexy, desirable attribute that you could ever possess. If you think you can… you can! If you think you are… you are! If you think you can lose that weight… you will!
Our self-talk can either make us very successful at life, or it can make us really miserable. The good news is that you can learn to change your tendency to negative self-talk and replace it with positive, happy, successful language.
Sometimes we use a combination of Clinical Hypnotherapy, Reiki and NLP to bring about the changes that you want to make in your life. It’s very exciting when you experience that moment when you ‘get it’!
I had been on every diet under the sun and joined every weight loss club going, for over twenty years now. I’ve even had meals delivered to the house for months at a time, but although I usually managed to lose a few pounds, it always piled back on again after a couple of months.
My weight’s still going in the right direction. I now go to exercise classes at the local pool and also go to line dancing every week. By the time I finished the sessions, I realised that it was really working for me. I couldn’t believe it was so easy to stop all of my terrible eating habits. No more 5 or 6 cans of fizzy drinks every day and no more sticky buns and cakes at tea breaks. I walk the dog for miles and feel really healthy. I’ve just bought my first pair of size 10 jeans and I feel amazing in them.
